Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Daily Bread at dailybreadmoney.com and the Daily Bread iOS app. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

Daily Bread is envelope-budgeting software: it helps you assign money to categories, track transactions, and connect bank accounts. It is a personal-finance tool, not a bank, and we never hold your money.

Not financial advice

Nothing in Daily Bread — including automatic categorization, insights, projections, or goal suggestions — is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Figures may contain errors or lag your bank; verify balances with your financial institution before making decisions.

Subscriptions and trials

New accounts include a 30-day free trial. After the trial, continued use of premium features requires a paid subscription, billed either through Stripe (on the web) or through your Apple Account (for subscriptions purchased in our iOS app). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Apple subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends and are managed in your App Store account settings; web subscriptions can be managed from Settings → Billing. When you cancel, access continues to the end of the paid period.

Your responsibilities

• Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Only connect accounts you are authorized to access.
• Do not abuse, probe, or disrupt the service.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Deleting your account does not cancel an active Apple subscription — cancel it separately in your App Store account settings, or you will continue to be billed.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
